  • Polyester is a strong and resistant to chemicals and abrasion and environmental impact thats why its used for making fire hose. Regards! water hoses made of polyester are used in fire fighting operations as most polyesters are fire resistant and can handle extreme temperatures.
  • Thermosetting plastics are used in saucepan handles because they do not soften on heating and also they cannot be bent easily. These plastics like bakelite are poor conductors of heat. b) Thermosetting plastics are used in electric plugs/switches/plug boards as they are bad conductors of electricity.
