An isosceles triangle is a triangle with (at least) two equal sides.

And in your question AB = AC

Then if we draw a perpendicular AD on BC then

Angle ADB = Angle ADC = 90°

So in both the triangle ADB and ADC three properties are same see,

Side AB = AC

Angle ADB = ADC

Side AD = AD

So it's proved that angle B = angle C
