Hey MATE!!!

1) Ant contains acid in their glands which they release whenever they feel unsafe from any other organism. To nullify the itching and pain caused by that acid, we apply a base (baking soda) which reacts with acid and forms salt and water, hence curing the pain and itching.

2) Soil grows well only and only when pH of it is 7 (i.e. neutral). If soil is acidic or basic in nature then it badly affects vegetation growth in it.

Hence, to cure an acidic soil we add base such as quicklime (CaO) to it so as to neutralize it's acidic nature.

3) Our stomach contains HCl so as the food that comes in can be made free of germs. But sometimes when we eat too much we suffer from acidity which is nothing but increase in amount of acid in our stomach .

To help it out we use antacid such as Mg(OH)2 {milk of magnesia} to maintain the pH inside our stomach.

Hope it helps
