The multiplicative Identity is 1 as whenever we multiply a number with 1 it does not change its value. Eg. 7 × 1 = 7

Additive Inverse of any number gives the additive identity (A number that when added to any number does not change its value.) Eg. 9 + 0 = 9

Hence, 0 is the additive identity.

1 + (- 1) = 0

Hence, the additive inverse of the multiplicative Identity is (- 1)
