Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

copper : zinc : nickel = 13:7:5

=> copper/ zinc = 13/7

=> zinc/ nickel = 7/5

so copper => 13/7*zinc

nickel = 7/5*zinc

Then total vol =

\frac{13}{7} z + z + \frac{7}{5}  z

=>4.25z is the total volume

Then percentage of copper = > \frac{13/7}{4.25}  * 100 = 46.4%

nickel = \frac{7/5}{4.25} =32.9%

therefore zinc = 23.5%

Answer:

13x+7x+5×=100

25x = 100

x = 4

copper = 4×13 = 52%

zinc = 4×7 = 28%

nickel = 4×5 = 20%
