f( \sqrt{3}) =   { \sqrt{3} }^{4}  - 3 \times   { \sqrt{3} }^{3}  -   { \sqrt{3} }^{2}  + 9 \times  \sqrt{3}  - 6

9 - 9 \sqrt{3}  - 3 + 9 \sqrt{3}  - 6 \:  = 0
