Solution :-

To find the smallest 3 digit number which is exactly divisible by 4, 8 and 16, we have to compute the L.C.M. of 4, 8 and 16.

4 = 2*2

8 = 2*2*2

16 = 2*2*2*2

L.C.M. of 4, 8 and 16 = 2*2*2*2

= 16

Now, the smallest 3 digit number which is exactly divisible by 4, 8 and 16, will be a multiple of 16.

Multiple of 16 = 16, 32, 48, 64, 80, 96, 112

So, 112 is the smallest 3 digit number which is exactly divisible by 4, 8 and 16.
