Centrifugation--Separating textile. Removing water from lettuce after washing it in a salad spinner Separating particles from an air-flow using cyclonic separation... ---..fractional distillation ---- It is used for obtaining different gases from the air. It is used for separating acetone from water. It is used to separate different components of crude oil.

SKoduri17: tnk u....will mark it

Centrifugation is the process in which there is device known as centrifuge which is used to separate suspension by density. There is principal of centripetal force is used for the sedimentation of denser particles.

Applications of Centrifugation are:-

1-Separating chalk powder from water
2-
Removing fat from milk
3-
Separation of urine components
4-
Separation of blood components

Fractional distillation is the separation process of a mixture (not compound) to its constituents or its parts by separating chemical compounds by their heating point. The substance it heated and one of its constituents is get heated and vaporised.

Applications of Factional Distillation are:-

1-Crude oil is separated into its constituents like Paraffin,Asphalt,Fuel Oil,Kerosene,Petrol etc.

2-It is also used to get different gases from air.

3-Used to separate acetone from water.
