Cotton is found in almost every textile we see and use in our daily lives in some form or another.

Explanation:

  • Denim for jeans, corduroy, twill, and terrycloth for absorbent towels are all made with it.
  • Cotton is also used to make coffee filters, trekking tents, fishing nets, and book binding, in addition to clothes.
  • Denim jeans were originally woven from cotton fibre and were therefore considered a natural product.
  • However, with the advancement of technology, synthetic fibres are now used to make denim varieties such as stretch and lycra.
