Answer:

As a student, personally, I do enjoy a lot listening to old songs, instrumental and pop music. But this generation nowadays caters to different kinds of genres, some engage in rock, rap music, especially if it is being accompanied by drums, electric guitar, bass etc. Although we can not force this young generation to go into old music, then we can encourage them to listen to it, because most of these old songs and music are really refreshing to our ears and useful tool for relaxation, meditation and serenity because it is solemn. With this encouragement perhaps we can convince them to love and appreciate the music both  old songs and the recent ones

Answer:

Explanation:

Each phase developed in response to the one before it. As the 20th century approached, composers were looking for new ideas. The "complex chord editing, the continual shift of tonalities" that was present in the foundation for this new search has been created by the works of R. Wagner and F. Liszt . Music has altered its vocabulary as a result of the wars and technical advancements of the 20th century, became modern, contemporary, or new music . In the 21st century  that has followed, numerous art trends have appeared in various nations, and all the guidelines established in the music.

In contrast to other eras, art movements started to change quickly in the 20th century. For instance, the Classical and Romantic periods spanned roughly 75 years each, and the Baroque period lasted 150 years (enol, 2013). In contrast, there were composers who embraced many creative styles in the same years of the 20th century. The twelve-tone technique, total serialism, neoclassicism, futurism, minimalism, noiseism, brutism, microtonal music, electronic music, and aleatory are a few of them.

Composers from the 20th and 21st centuries have written and continue to write their compositions without regard for limitations. There is disagreement among composers and music historians over the problems in listening to the music composed during these times and whether these difficulties are the result of not being accustomed to this music.

How would you convince your fellow Filipino students who are used to the pop music culture, to appreciate 20th and 21st century music styles:

I personally find listening to instrumental, pop, and vintage songs to be quite enjoyable as a student. But today's generation listens to a variety of genres; some enjoy rock and rap music, particularly when it is accompanied by drums, an electric guitar, a bass, etc. Although we can't make the younger generation listen to old music, we may urge them to do so because a lot of it is incredibly soothing to the ear and serves as a valuable tool for serenity, meditation, and relaxation because it is serious. With this encouragement, maybe we may persuade children to enjoy and value music, both classic and contemporary.
