⇒ 1x + 3y = 163 ------(2)

Now solve (1) and (2) to get x and y values

3 × (2) ⇒ 3x + 9y = 489 -----(3)

Now Do (1) - (3)

⇒ 3x + 2y - 3x - 9y = 167 - 489

⇒  -7y = - 322

⇒  y = 46

Substitute y = 46 in (2)

⇒ 3x + 9(46) = 489

⇒ 3x = 489 - 414

⇒ 3x = 75

⇒ x = 25
