The minimum number of packet of brands A

he should buy = 12,

The minimum number of packet of brands B he should buy = 10,

The minimum number of packet of brands C he should buy = 05

Step-by-step explanation:

  1. According to question packets have 10, 12 & 24 pens of brand A, B & C respectively,
  2. To find out the no. of packets of brands we have to find out LCM of these three nos.
  3. we get LCM of these three nos. as 120
  4. Now dividing the LCM by 10 we get answer 12, which is the no. of Packets of brand A
  5. Similarly we can get answer 10 and 5 by dividing the LCM by 12 & 24 which show the no of packets of brands B & C respectively
