27jenny: if it helps u ...plzzz mark me brainliest
themonotonuspan: Hey you, don't shout this "mark me brainliest" everywhere. Your answer will be marked by the questioner when he is satisfied with your answer. Shouting this "mark me brainliest" shows that your english grammer is very weak (How on Earth would the questioner mark YOU instead of your answer as brainliest? ), It also shows that you lack your self-confidence on your answers and it is a sign of UNPROFESSIONALISM. Adding to that, your answer doesn't deserve to be marked as a brainliest because
themonotonuspan: (continued) your answer is absolutely wrong also.
themonotonuspan: One suggestion from my side, improve your maths!!
themonotonuspan: OVER AND OUT !!!

Let the unknown number be x.

 \frac{3}{4} - x = \frac{3}{8}

 - x = \frac{3}{8} - \frac{3}{4}

 - x = \frac{3 - 6}{8}

 - x = \frac{ - 3}{8}

 x = \frac{3}{8}
