 \frac{3}{4}x + \frac{1}{3}y = 5

 = > \frac{9x + 4y}{12} = 5

 = > 9x + 4y = 60 \: \: \: \: \: \: (i)

CASE II)

 \frac{1}{4} x + \frac{2}{3} y = 7

 = > \frac{3x + 8y}{12} = 7

 = > 3x + 8y = 84 \: \: \: \: \:( ii)

NOW ELEMINATING EQUATIONS I & II,

 = > 9x + 4y = 60 \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: 3x + 8y = 84

 = > 18x + 8y = 120 \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: 3x + 8y = 84

 = > 15x = 36

x = \frac{36}{15}

PUT THIS VALUE IN EQUATION (I)

=>9x+4y=60 ( Put value of x and find LCM)

=>108+20y=300

=>20y=192

=> y=48/5

Hope this answer is helpful
