 Given \:simple \: equation : 3(c-2)=5(c+1)

 \implies 3c - 6 = 5c + 5

/* Subtract bothsides of the equation by 3c ,we get */

 \implies 3c - 3c  - 6 = 5c -3c + 5

 \implies - 6 = 2c + 5

/* Subtract bothsides by 5 , we get */

 \implies - 6 -5 = 2c + 5 - 5

 \implies - 11 = 2c

/* Dividing each term by 2 , we get */

 \implies \frac{-11}{2} = \frac{2c}{2}

 \implies \frac{-11}{2} = c

Therefore.,
