Now according to question,Scooter moves from A to B along the circular path (where AB is diameter).

It means scooter completes half a revolution(circumference/2).

So,Distance travelled=The actual path traversed by scooter=23140=1570 m

Again,Displacement=The shortest distance travelled by scooter(Final position−Initial position)

=Diameter of the circle=2r

Since 2πr=3140m (hereπ=3.14)

2r=3.143140=1000 m.

To calculate the time taken by the scooter in reaching from A to B,we have a formula

Speed=TimeDistance

Time=SpeedDistance=101570=157 seconds.
