Following are the answers to these questions:

1. Odysseus continued to the island of Aeolia, where Aeolus was king. Zeus had appointed Aeolus as a medium, for stopping Odysseus and his crew. After playing Odysseus, he gave him an ox skin, where he tied up the winds and stirred the western wind to guide Odysseus and his crew home.

2. The king releases one wind from the bag, namely the westerly wind to help Odysseus return to his home in Ithaca.

3. Odysseus told his men that the bag contains treasures, and he told everyone not to touch it.

4. For ten days and ten nights, Eurylochus kept asking Odysseus unanswerable questions of the men around him as he did not dare to ask Odysseus directly.

5. The king gave Odysseus the bag that contained the winds. As they were about to reach Ithaca, Odysseus's crew members opened the bag and the unfavorable winds came out. The winds drove Odysseus and his crew back to the island.

6. Because they were somewhat blind to the scenery.
