The radius of three concentric circles are in the ratio of x : 2x : 3x

Let the radius of the three circles be xcm, 2xcm and 3xcm respectively.

Ratio of their areas = πr₁² : πr₂² : πr₃²

= π*1² : π*2² : π*3²

= 1² : 2² : 3²

So the ratio of their respective ratios is 1 : 4 : 9.
