3. Construct a line segment AB of length 12 cm. Cut off a segment AC of length 4.5 cm.
Measure the remaining segment CB and check if AC + CB = AB..​

yes AC+CB= AB

first you draw a line segment AB of length 12 cm by using ruler

Then take a point A cut an arc of 4.5cm by using compass.

Then you will get a point C .

then you minus 12-4.5 = 7.5 you will 7.5 answer

7.5 is measure of line segment CB .

when you add AC + CB = AB OR 4.5cm + 7.5cm = 12.0 cm
