We have to construct a parallelogram where opposite sides are equal.

side AB=CD=3.6cm

side BC=AD=4.2cm

Diagonal AC=6.5cm

⇒ Draw AB=3.6cm

⇒ To get point C, draw an arc from A of length 6.5cm and draw another arc from B of length 4.2cm. the intersecting point of these arc is Point C.

⇒ Now to get point D, draw a arc from point A of length 4.2cm and draw another arc from point C of length 3.6cm. the intersecting point of these arcs is point D.

Now join BC, CD and AD now you have a parallelogram
