3. Construct a quadrilateral ABCD in which AB= 3.6 cm, BC=5.5 cm, CD=5 cm. Angle B=125°

and Angle C=80°

. Write the steps of construction.

Quadrilateral ABCD is constructed in which AB=3.6cm , BC= 5.5cm, CD=4.9cm, AD=5.3 cm and AC=7.2cm.

Step 1 : Draw a line segment AB = 3.6 cm using ruler.

Step 2 : Taking compass width = 5.5 cm draw an arc taking B as center

Step 3 : Taking compass width = 7.2 cm draw an arc taking A as center suct that it intersect arc drawn in step 2 at  C

Step 4 : Join BC

Step 5 : Taking compass width = 4.9 cm draw an arc taking C as center

Step 6 : Taking compass width = 5.3 cm draw an arc taking A as center such that it intersect arc drawn in step 5 at  D

Step 7 : Join CD & AD

Quadrilateral ABCD is constructed.
