volume of 1st cube = 3x3x3
                                 = 27cm^3
volume of 2nd cube = 4x4x4
                                  = 64cm^3
volume of 3rd cube = 5x5x5
                                  = 125cm^3

volume of new cube formed = 125+64+27
                                                = 216cm^3

side of cube = a

axaxa=216
a=6cm

surface area = 6 a^2
                       = 6x6x6
                       = 216cm^2
