1) Democracy also creates very stiff competition which lead to instability and cheating by political parties.

2) It also give rise to conflict at some times due to different though or ideas of different people.

3 demerits are as follows:-
first is that people sometimes take advantage of this situation and do illegal thigs. second, it takes place in a huge form in politics wherein people are not provided with fair choices. third is that, multi party system leads to a lot of chaos and instability.
