3. Define Positive, Negative and Zero work done and Find the amount of work done, if Ø =
180°, 0 = 0º and Ø = 90°

positive work done :-

W = FS cos theta ( if theta = 0°)

w = FS cos 0° ( cos 0° = 1 )

w = FS

it means work done is positive

Negative work done :-

W = FS cos theta ( if theta = 180° )

W = FS cos 180° ( cos 180° = -1 )

w = FS (-1)

w = - FS

it means work done is negative

zero work done :-

W = FS cos theta ( if theta = 90° )

W= FS cos 90° ( cos 90° = 0 )

W= FS (0)

W= 0

it means work done is zero .
