When was auditioned for the Royal academy of music she scored one of the highest marks in the history of the academy. after the the end of her three years course she had bagged most of the top award she also become the world sought after multi- percussionist who achieved mastery in some thousand instrument. ln 1991 ,she received the prestigious soloist of the year award that is awarded by the Royal philharmonic society.
