The one difference is Chlorophyceae has the green pigments, and Rhodophyceae has the red pigments, and the Phaeophyceae do have the brown pigments.

Another difference is Chlorophyceae do have the xanthophyll and carotenoids. Rhodophyceae has the phycocyanin and phycoerythrins and the other one Phaeophyceae do have the flavoxanthin and the fucoxanthin.
