a type of person of blood group O which can in theory donate blood to recipients of ABO blood group.

AB + ve is the universal acceptor blood group of the universal receptor because a b + individuals have all the possible antigens and I have all the possible antigen and therefore are the are the universal acceptor as their immune system is used to sing each of the antigen

Explanation:

The universal donor is O negative. i.e. group O, RhD negative. The recipients blood will not have antibodies to this blood, the blood can be given to a patient with any blood group. The universal recipient is therefore AB positive, no matter which blood group isgiven, there should be no major reaction.
