Hey there!

Random experiment: 3 different coins are tossed once (or) one coin is tossed thrice(both means same)

Sample space:

S={HHH,HHT,HTH,HTT,TTT,TTH,THT,THH}

n(s)= 8

Event:A{ Getting exactly two heads!

A={HHT,HTH,THH}

n(A)= 3

probability of the event, getting exactly two heads is

p(A) = n(A) ÷ n(S) = 3÷8 = 3/8

p(A)= 3/8
