3. Draw the graph of the equation 2x + 3y = 11. Find from the graph value of y when

The given equation is,

2x+3y=11

It is linear equation so the graph of the equation is a straight line.

To draw the graph of the equation, we have to find at least two points which satisfies the equation.

Put x = 1

2(1)+3y=11

3y=11-2

y=3

Therefore the value of is 3, when x=1 and the line passing through the point (1,3).

Similarly, by putting x=4, we get y=1, and putting x=-2 we get y=5. So, the line passing through the point (4,1), (-2,5) and (1,3).
