3. Draw the graph of the equation y = 3x - 4. Find
graphically
(i) the value of y when x = -1.
(ii) the value of x when y = 5.
4. Find the coordinates of the point where the
following lines cut the y-axis.
[Hint. A line cuts the y-axis where x 0.
Thus the line y = 2x + 5, will cut the y-axis at
y = 5, i.e., it will cut an intercept of 5 units from
the y-axis.]
(i) y = 5x + 1,
(ii) y = 3x - 7,
(iii) y = x + 5,
(iv) 3y = 2x + 9.
Please tell me the solution by graph

hey! here's ur answer

Answer:

3. (i) y value = -7

3. (ii) x value = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

3. (i) y= 3x - 4

y = 3×(-1) -4

y = -3 -4

y = -7

(ii) y = 3x-4

5 = 3x -4

4+5 = 3x

9 =3x

9/3 = x

2 = x
