3. Draw the graph of the straight line given by
the equation 4x - 3y + 36 = 0
Calculate the area of the triangle formed
by the line drawn and the co-ordinate
axes.

equation 4x−3y+36=0

on x-axis we get the point y=0 , x= - 9

and on y-axis we get the point x=0, y= 12

therefore  area of the triangle formed

b=9 and h=12

A=1/2∗b∗h

A=1/2∗9∗12

A=54

Area =54 sq. units
