3)Equal length of magnesium ribbons are taken in test tubes A and B. hydrochloric acid (HCl)
is added to test tube A, while acetic acid (CH3COOH) is added to test tube B. Amount and
conc. taken for both acids are the same. In which test tube will fizzing occur more vigorously

In test tube A, which contains HCl which is a very strong acid

On the other hand test tube B contains a relatively acetic acid which is comparatively less reactive

Metal reacts with acid to give salt and hydrogen gas

In test tube A : Mg(s) + HCl(aq) ------> MgCl2 (aq) +H2(g)

In test tube B : Mg(s)+ CH3COOH(aq) ------> Mg(CH3COO)2(aq) + H2(gas)

We know that HCl is morere reactive than CH3COOH, so liberation of hydrogen from hydrogen gas from test tube A is more vigorous
