Expand : (3a – 2b)²

Identity :-

 {(a - b)}^{2}  =  {a}^{2}   -  2ab +  {b}^{2}

Required Answer :-

{9a}^{2}  - 12ab +  {4b}^{2}

Solution :-

(3a – 2b)²

 =  {(3a)}^{2}  - 2 \times 3a \times 2b +  {(2b)}^{2}

 =  {9a}^{2}  - 12ab +  {4b}^{2}
