Answer:

Hey mate, here's your answer.....

Explanation:

After the partial digestion in the stomach, it is sent to the small intestine through muscle sphincter. The small intestine is the site of complete digestion. The walls of small intestine has tiny, millions of finger-like projections called villi. These villi greatly increase the surface area for absorption. They are coated with a layer of one cell thick epithelium tissue, through which the nutrients are absorbed and are sent through the blood and lymphatic vessels to each and every part of the body for cellular respiration to build up new tissues and repair worn and torn out tissues.

Actually, these nutrients are complex in nature, which are broken down through the liver and pancreas. In the liver, larger fat globules are broken down into smaller fat globules by the action of bile, called emulsification. The pancreas secrete pancreatic juices, namely amylase (complex carbohydrates into simple sugars), trypsin (proteins into amino acids) and lipase (fats into fatty acids and glycerol). The acidic medium of the digested food is converted into alkaline medium and is sent to the small intestine. All these broken down nutrients are absorbed through the tissues of villi.

I have given you such a detailed answer, I would expect a mark of the brainliest answer and 5.0 rating..... ❤ ❤
