Respiration:C6H12O6+6O2---6CO2+6H2O+Energy

while in

Photosynthesis:6CO2+6H2O+Energy---C6H12O6+6O2

So as you can see the reactants of respiration are product of photosynthesis and reactants of photosynthesis are product of respiration, that's why they are reverse of each-other.

Hope it helps you

Thanks!!

Respiration is considered to be the reverse of photosynthesis because:

Energy is liberated in the process of respiration, while energy is consumed during photosynthesis.

Oxygen is consumed during respiration. On the other hand, oxygen is evolved during photosynthesis.

Carbon dioxide is released in respiration. In photosynthesis, carbon dioxide is consumed as a reactant.

In respiration, carbon dioxide and water are produced as products. In photosynthesis, carbon dioxide and water are used as reactants.
