1.) The tapi river rises in the satpura ranges, in the betul district of Madhya Pradesh.
2.) It's basin covers of parts of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.
3.) The main west flowing rivers are sabarmati, mahi, Bharathpuzha and periyar.
4.) it flows in a rift Valley parallel to Narmada.
