Given:

Marked Price = 15500 & Discount = 2.5%

To find:

The selling price

Solution:

We know,

\boxed{\bold{Discount = \frac{Discount\%}{100}  \times Marked \:Price}}\\\\\boxed{\bold{Selling\:price = Marked\:Price - Discount}}

By using the first formula, we will find the value of the discount,

∴ Discount = \frac{2.5}{100} \times 15500 =  0.025 \times 15500 = 387.5

Now, by using the second formula we will find the S.P.

∴ The selling price is,

= M.P. - Discount

= 15500 - 387.5

= Rs. 15112.5

Thus, the selling price is → Rs. 15112.50
