area of the triangle is 510 cm ²

Step-by-step explanation:

given sides of traingle are

a= 51 cm

b = 52 cm

c = 101 cm

then perimeter of triangle = 51+ 52+101 cm = 204 cm

semi perimeter = \frac{204}{2} = 102 cm

using the heron's formula

area of triangle = \sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}

\sqrt{102(102-51)(102-52)(102-101)}\\\\\sqrt{102(51)(50)(1)}\\\\\sqrt{2\times3\times17\times2\times5\times5\times3\times17}\\\\=2\times3\times5\times17\\\\= 510

hence , area of the triangle is 510 cm ²
