3. Find the circumference of a circle whose diameter
(a) 10cm
(b) 7.7cm (c) 14cm (d) 63cm

Answer:

(a)Diameter=10cm

Radius=10÷2

=5cm

Circumference=2πr

=2×22/7×5

=31.43cm

(b) Diameter=7.7cm

2r=7.7cm

Circumference=2πr

=2×π×r

= 2×r×π

=7.7×22/7

=24.22cm

(c) Diameter=14cm

2r=14cm

Circumference=2πr

=2×r×π

=14×22/7

=44cm

(d) Diameter=63cm

2r=63cm

Circumference=2πr

=2×r×π

=63×22/7

=198 cm
