Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN;

ABC is a equlalateral triangle

CONSTRUCTION;

AC is perpendicular to BD

NOW;

To find height

BY PGT,

(AB)^2 = (AC)^2 + (BC)^2

(2a)^2 = (AC)^2 + ( a)^2

4a^2 = (AC)^2 + a^2

4a^2 - a^2 = (AC)^2

3a^2 = (AC)^2

root 3a the whole square = AC

root 3 a = AC

We know that:

AC = h

Therefore,

h = root 3 a

I HOPE THIS WILL BE HELPFUL FOR YOU
