a. perimeter is 30

unequal side is 8

so

perimeter= 30

x + x + 8 = 30

2x + 8 = 30

2x = 30 - 8

2x = 22

x = 22/2= 11

equal sides are of 11 cm

b. p = 55

unequal side= 15

perimeter = 55

x + x + 15 = 55

2x = 55-15

2x = 40

x = 40 /2

x = 20

equal sides are of 20cm
