Given :

  • Area of Triangle is 540 cm² .
  • Base of Triangle is 40 cm .

To Find :

  • Height of Triangle .

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Base=40\:cm}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Area\:of\:\triangle=\dfrac{1}{2}\times{b}\times{h}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{540=\dfrac{1}{{\cancel{2}}}\times{{\cancel{40}}}\times{h}}

\longmapsto\tt{540=20\:h}

\longmapsto\tt{h=\cancel\dfrac{540}{20}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{h=27\:cm}

So , The Height of Triangle is 27 cm ..

Triangle :

A triangle is a simple closed curve figure made of three line segments. It has three vertices , three sides and three angles .

Classification of Triangles based on Sides :

  • A triangle having three unequal sides is called as Scalene Triangle.
  • A triangle having two equal sides is called as Isosceles Triangle .
  • A triangle having three equal sides is called as Equilateral Triangle .

Classification of Triangles based on Angles :

  • If angle is less than 90 degree than the triangle is known as Acute Angled Triangle.
  • If an angle is of 90 degree then the triangle is known as Right Angled Triangle .
  • If the angle is greater than 90 degree than the triangle is known as Obtuse Angled Triangle .
