Answer: 1 : 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Suppose the segments are :-

P(a + b, b + a)

Q(a - b, b - a)

R(a, b)

Here R divides PQ in x : 1

\textbf a = \frac{x(a-b)+1(a+b)}{x+1}

= a(x + 1) = x(a - b) + a + b

= ax + a = ax - bx + a + b

bx = b

\textbf x = \frac{b}{b}

x = 1

Hence Ratio = 1 : 1
