Answer:

i) 43.7 kg

ii)Rs.506.25

iii)33.36

iv)340

Step-by-step explanation:

i)percent=100

so 15 percent=15/100

question is 15% increase in 38 kg

so first we find how much we have to increase

15/100*38 kg

=5.7 kg is the amount that we have to increase

So 38+5.7=43.7 kg

ii) There are two ways to do this question. This is the first one. The second one is done in the next question.

12 1/2 percent=12.5/100

question is 12.5% increase in Rs.450

so first we find how much we have to increase

12.5/100*450=Rs.56.25 is the amount that we have to increase

So 450+56.25=Rs.506.25

iii)We have to find the improper fraction of 7 1/3.

7 1/3%=22/3%

So now the procedure is same.

22/3*100*36=2.64

But according to the question we have to now subtract the our answer from 36.

36-2.64=33.36

iv)The whole procedure is same as the last question

15%=15/100

15/100*400=60

So we will subtract 60 from 400.

400-60=340
