3. Find the time when principal is Rs 12,000 Rate is 10%, so I is Rs 1500.​

BY THE PROBLEM ,

= 5/4

To find : time period  .

Given : principal = 12,000 \ Rs  , Rate = 10 \ \%  , S.I = 1500\ Rs

Solution :

  • We know that , the simple Interest of an amount is calculated by multiplying the interest rate by the principal amount and the time period. the time period in years.
  • SI Formula :  S.I = \frac{P\times R\times T}{100}
  • Putting the value in formula. we get

        1500 =\frac{12000 \times 10\times T}{100}  \\\\1500 = 120\times 10 \times T \\\\T = \frac{1500}{1200} \\\\ T =\frac{15}{12}  \\\\ T = \frac{5}{4}

Hence, the time period is \frac{5}{4} years .
