The following exchange on saving water, takes place between two friends Bhavna and Abha.

  • Bhavna: It's really sad that we need to put up so many of these 'Save water' posters.
  • Abha: That's because people don't bother about saving water.

  • Bhavna: That's exactly what worries me. People don’t understand the importance of saving water.
  • Abha: Most people live from day to day, without thinking of the future.

  • Bhavna: They are not aware of how bad the water crisis will be a few years down the line.
  • Abha: It is not a minor issue. So many nations across the globe are struggling with water scarcity.

  • Bhavna: Yes, it's a global issue. Even the United Nations is working on spreading awareness about water being a precious resource.
  • Abha: So, it is our duty to educate people about saving water too.

  • Bhavna: Well, my mother doesn't even let the water from the air conditioner go waste. It is used to mop the floors.
  • Abha: That's an excellent idea. I will tell my mother too. We can all do our bit to save the future.
