Solution :-

Ratio of Profit of Rahul : Rakesh : Rahim = (Invest by Rahul * time) : (Invest by Rakesh * time) : (Invest by Rahim * time)

so,

→ Rahul invest = Rs.3000 for 4 months .

then,

→ Amount he withdrawn = 3000 * (1/2) = Rs.1500

so,

→ Amount left to invest for rest 5 months = Rs.1500

→ Rahul : Rakesh : Rahim = (3000 * 4 + 1500 * 5) : (2000 * 9) : (1500 * 9) = 19500 : 18000 : 13500 = 39 : 36 : 27 = 13 : 12 : 9

then,

→ Profit of Rahul = {13/(13 + 12 + 9)} * 2840 = (13/34) * 2840 = Rs.1085.88

Profit of Rakesh = {12/(13 + 12 + 9)} * 2840 = (12/34) * 2840 = Rs.1002.35

→ Profit of Rahim = {9/(13 + 12 + 9)} * 2840 = (9/34) * 2840 = Rs.751.76
