3. From the diagram below, determine

i) The equivalent resistance of the entire circuit

ii) The current through each resistor

iii) The total current from the power supply

iv) The voltage drop across each resistance.

Answer:

1. the circuit is parallel. so the effective resistance is of formulae1÷R=1÷r1+1÷r2+1÷r3 which is 5÷4. 2. the current is given by V=IR by ohms law. which gives the answer as 24÷5. 3. the voltage also as 2 one but r value should be kept ad 2 once then 5 then 10 .
