Molality = moles of solute / mass of solvent

First find moles of salt

n = m / M = 3 / 30 = 0.1moles

Mass of solvent = 250g = 0.25kg

Now put in formula

= 0.1 / 0.25

= 0.4 moles/kg

Thanks
