"There are three traditional gender roles that have been assigned to men and women distinctly and human society had been stuck in these roles. But with the advent of modern times these roles have changed. These roles and the changes seen are as follows.

1. Education: Traditional it was seen to be unnecessary for women to pursue higher education. But now the participation of women in education has reached to equal participation.

2. Profession: Traditionally it was considered a Man’s Job to provide and for Women to be at home and be a home maker. But with the advent of the modern times, women are starting to pick their careers and devote time towards their passion.

3. Child Care and Home Making: Earlier it used be a Man’s job to provide for the family while women took care of kids. In modern times, men are actively participating in child rearing.
